Description
Responsible for the development, management and support of the Inside Sales and Customer Service Teams.

Functionally responsible for all members of the Sales Team concerning day to day sales matters and the Production Team concerning order fulfilment.

All sales staff contribute to the success of each customer.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Postsecondary education with mathematical, business, quality, and technical training or strong relevant business experience
  • Management and leadership certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, managing a team of at least 2 people
  • Experience in a sale driven leadership role an asset
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management
  • Sales experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills/Competence

  • Should have high energy level, a positive attitude and be able to work without direct supervision
  • Should be a strong selfmotivator and work well with others
  • Good time management and organizational skills are necessary
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Excel
  • Proven experience with conflict resolution
  • Strong ability to lead and coach teams
  • Strong leadership skills that foster an engaging team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the position are detailed below, but not limited to the following:

  • Assist leadership with revising, generating and implementing sales strategies and procedures
  • Coaching teams to establish close relationships and a deep understanding of becoming a "Trusted Advisor" using the "Solution Selling" sales model
  • Remove roadblocks for team members
  • Utilize CRM in an effective manner to ensure targets and requirements are captured
  • Utilize Epics reports to support customer service to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
  • Ensure that the core values (PROUD) are captured in the culture of the Team
  • Responsible for managing employees' overall performance, coach, appraise and train sales personnel
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
  • Delegate responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Liaise with other department managers to ensure achievements of all team members is in line with Company vision
  • Schedule and lead team meetings on a biweekly to monthly basis
  • Oversee teamwork schedule/vacation requests
  • Work directly with Production staff to provide Outstanding Customer Service
  • Be a strong team player and assist coworkers when needed
  • Comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements
  • Attend prospect and customer meetings as required
