Ambipar Group recently acquired Ridgeline Canada, which has resulted in a huge opportunity for growth and expansion into different areas of the environmental industry. Opportunity exists for international travel for work.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our Ridgeline Response division is seeking an
Emergency Response Supervisor/Project Manager. This position is 70-80% field based and may require travel throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and northeast B.C. Schedules will occasionally need to be flexible and response to an incident is required on short notice. This could involve longer than usual workday hours.
WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL CONSIST OF:
- Liase between General Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Clients and Field Professionals regarding project plan and status updates.
- Direct technical infield procedures.
- Lead project team including creating scopes of work, and task delegation to meet project goals.
- Ensure clear and concise project communication with clients and regulators.
- Manage project budget and timelines.
- Ensure field work quality, efficiency, and attention to safety.
- Manage revenue generation, projections, invoicing, and project reporting and documentation.
- Participate in weekly oncall schedule.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Land Reclamation, Biological Sciences or equivalent.
- 5 + Years of relevant professional field experience in environmental site remediation and reclamation projects on public and private lands.
- Experience working in a safety sensitive environment.
- Proven project management skills.
- Knowledge of initial response, containment and recovery techniques, regulatory compliance, communication with stakeholders (clients, landowners, regulators).
DESIRES SKILLS | IS THIS YOU?
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience leading a team.
- Experience monitoring budgets and other information to anticipate needs and make necessary adjustments.
- Professional Designation or working towards a professional designation (i.e. AIA, APEGA, ASPB etc.) an asset.
NOTE on Compensation:
Our range is based on hourly pay and the overtime worked. Average of staff work a minimum of 20% overtime and have the potential to work more. The breakdown of compensation will be further elaborated in the interview process.
Salary:
$90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
