You will be joining the Toronto HR Team to support our business in various HR Matters.

You will be exposed to multiple HR facets and will learn a lot, about HR, the railway industry and Alstom.

The
Administrative HR Intern plays a key administrative role for HR Manager. This role provides flexible, responsive, and proactive support to the HR Manager. Successful delivery of the various HR administrative responsibilities with strong organization, planning and communication skills is expected.


Your key responsibilities:


  • Support the HR Manager with the payroll process
  • Support the employees and supervisors with their questions regarding our timecard software
  • Maintain the computer system by updating and entering data/Create and distribute documents.
  • Support the recruitment coordination (participate in weekly meeting, fill in information in the tracking file, handle the recruitment process)
  • Support the human resources team in various HR process including recruitment, training, performance management, administration of HR policies, etc.
  • Support the HR Manager in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project.
  • All other related tasks

YOUR PROFILE

Your Competencies & Skills:


  • Are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or College Diploma
  • Reliable, committed and able to perform duties involving confidential and sensitive information as well as maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Adept at problemsolving, including being able to identify & resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Resourceful & possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal, with employees, HR team and in group presentations and meetings,
  • Ability to be dependable by prioritizing, Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Planning and organizing skills with efficient time management
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Are fluent in English, spoken & written.
