POSITION OVERVIEW


In this role you will establish and develops external channel and customer relationships, in a highly competitive environment, to evolve and maintain long term, stable, profitable, and mutually beneficial relationships.

The Admin Assistant influences, supports, and trains dealer channels and represents the dealer channel in SaskTel implementations of new products, services, and processes.

The Admin Assistant also monitors dealer adherence to legal contracts and monitors dealer's representation of SaskTel to consumers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(Not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments)

  • Maintains the relationship between SaskTel and dealers
  • Monitors and enforces dealer channel contracts.
  • Responds to and resolves customer concerns resulting from dealer actions. Supports dealers in customer sales activities and proposals.
  • Develops, implements, disperses, interprets and monitors material/information of new programs and policies pertaining to SaskTel systems, policies, products, services, and new/existing dealer programs.
  • Provides ongoing assessment of dealer performance.
  • Prepares and maintains dealer profile information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate in Business Administration with a thorough knowledge of Sales techniques, typically gained with 4 years experience in a Sales or Marketing role OR 2 post secondary classes in Business Administration with a thorough knowledge of Sales techniques, typically gained with 5 years experience in a Sales or Marketing role.
  • Thorough knowledge of one of the following:
a) Wireless products and services.
b) Internet and Max products and services.

  • General knowledge of IP based services.
  • Working knowledge of business principles.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deal effectively with others.
  • Ability to train and instruct others.
  • Ability to make presentations.
  • Ability to plan and organize in a self directed environment.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.

WORKING CONDITIONS

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Frequent in province travel required.
  • Constantly works to deadlines and manages multiple priorities daily.
  • Overtime may be requested.
  • Works with highly confidential information.
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Complies with all safety, health and environmental policies, programs and standards at all times.
