Job Description:
Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience Completion of Human Resources Diploma and a minimum of two years' experience working in a Human Resources position preferably in a unionized environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation covering Human Resource practics such as the Employment Standards Act, Freedom of Information/Protection of Privacy and Human Rights.
- Knowledge of and experience with current Human Resource Management practices.
- Knowledge of and experience with benefits and compensation data and business processes.
- Experience working with integrated corporate HRIS such as Workday or similar cloudbased ERP preferred.
Skills & Abilities Must have organizational and time management skills in meeting deadlines, working under pressure with high volume, working with data, systems, and working with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to review and transcribe large data sets, validate and decipher any errors based on standards and guidelines received
- Intermediate to Advanced working level with MS Office (including MS Access).
- Confidentiality in working with employee information and files.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills, attention to details, quick learner and ability to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to provide a wide range of information and advice to internal and external clients. Proven professionalism and discretion at all times.
- Knowledge of Workday an asset.

$ $42.60 per hour
Pay Grade:
Admin Paygrade 04
Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers' Council Secretariat (PSEC).
