PM Signs is one of Western Canada's leading custom signage companies.We design, manufacture and install all types of exterior and interior signage and other specialty elements for businesses in North America.
As a shop assistant you will help facilitate the day to day needs of the sign shop while learning about various sign types.
Your ability to work with a team and attention to detail must be impeccable as you learn the skills required to work in a sign shop.
- Has a great attitude and is ready to learn new skills in a high paced and creative environment
- Will follow all company policies and procedures
- Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
- Has the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 or more pounds repetitively throughout the workday and the flexibility to lean over a waisthigh table and use back forth hand motions
- A Class 5 license is required (air brakes would be an asset)
- Mechanical skills and problem solving ability
- Previous sign manufacturing/installation experience will be considered a definite asset
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
