Commonwealth Kitchen & Bar is a casual fine dining restaurant and lounge opening up in the downtown Winnipeg area, looking for experienced staff to uphold the qualities we value most, friendliness, flawless execution, and a warm passion for hospitality.

Putting forth a restaurant service transitioning in to late night bar heavy service, we are looking for an experienced bar team to carry an elevated, high volume bar.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Monitor and ensure cleanliness and organization of workspace and storage.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
