Your responsibilities will include:


  • Research in engineering, quality assurance, drawings or factories the information necessary to achieve the objectives of his mandate and writes the explanatory texts of the manuals.
  • Identify, orders and verifies illustrations that are necessary to understand the text.
  • Edit manuals to ensure their technical accuracy and compliance with standards required by customers and service.
  • Revise explanatory texts following the issuance of notices of modifications, engineering changes to drawings and / or customer comments, etc.
  • Participate in the development of standards and work instructions for writers and suppliers.
  • Comment and integrate as necessary the technical publications submitted by subcontractors and suppliers and ensures their compliance with the standards required by customers and by the department.
  • Assist the Supervisor in discussions with suppliers in order to obtain the necessary information for the production of the manuals.
  • Respond to technical queries from Service Engineering employees (Publications, Training, RAMS, STTE).
  • Assist the supervisor in the development and execution of internal training programs for writers (coaching), in the organization of work within the group and in communications.
  • Participate in the continual assessment and definition of the functional needs of the work tools at his disposal.
  • Participate in Assists the Section Head in the preparation of quotes and the analysis of client specifications. If necessary, assist the section head in discussions with clients.
  • Occasionally, you may be called upon by the Supervisor to perform other lower and / or higher level work. Assumes any other relevant task related to his duties.
  • D.E.C in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of experience
  • Practical workshop experience desired
