    The BC Vegetable Marketing Commission (BCVMC) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Licensing and Compliance Manager to join their South Surrey-based team.     You have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in agriculture, business administration, law enforcement, or equivalent relevant experience.

    ✓ You have a minimum of 5 years of related senior-level experience in compliance, accreditation, auditing, operations, or related management role. Work experience within the agricultural sector and/or a regulated industry is an asset.

    About the position

    The Licensing and Compliance Manager plays a key role in ensuring stakeholders are properly licensed and in regulatory compliance with the General Orders. This front-line position also fosters engagement with stakeholders in understanding and supporting the regulated marketing industry. The incumbent will manage the licensing process, conduct compliance monitoring activities, and provide education and outreach on BCVMC policies and regulations to stakeholders.

    The position demands a considerable degree of diplomacy, a high level of analytical skills, and a continuous improvement, self-starter and problem-solving attitude. Working in a small but demanding environment, issues of a confidential and complex nature are routinely encountered.

    This position is located at the BCVMC office with reasonable flexibility for limited remote work. Occasional travel may be required. This position includes an attractive compensation and extended health benefits package. The pay range is $90,000-$110,000 per year.
