    Aurora Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic full-time Level II Dental Assistant to join our well-established practice in Aurora, ON.

    What you will be doing - key responsibilities:

    • Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills
    • Take intra-oral records and radiographs.
    • Provide exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team.
    • Perform Invisalign scans.
    • Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols
    • Provide oral health education to our patients and families.
    • Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

    About you:

    • You are an excellent communicator who brings enthusiasm and passion to every interaction.
    • Pleasant, professional, and courteous personality with a passion and energy for exceptional customer service
    • A capable Dental Assistant, willing to perform expanded duties in treating orthodontic patients.
    • Ability to work cohesively in a small, tight-knit team.
    • Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients.
    • Alignment with our vision, mission, and values, which guide how we work.

    What you bring - qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience required.
    • 1+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
    • Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
    • HARP certification
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
    • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
    • Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
