The Logistics Coordinator maintains tracking and documentation of all inbound domestic or import vendors, makes appropriate decisions regarding freight brokerage, updates the ERP system, maintains the receiving schedule for all inbound traffic and ensures receipt and invoice matching.

The role primarily deals with inbound logistics and supporting the Supply Chain Department; however, the incumbent is also expected to maintain some planning/buying portfolios as assigned.

There is heavy use of the company's ERP system and Microsoft Office.
Track Purchase Orders and their movement once shipped.
# Maintain a tracking report of all outstanding purchase orders.
# Communicate with Freight companies, resolve issues and review rates to ensure competitiveness.
# Identify discrepancies with invoices compared to Purchase Order and advise the buyer.
# Close communication with Distribution Dept. Fluency in both official languages is required.
Minimum 1 to 3 years in a Supply Chain role in a manufacturing/distribution environment is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and advanced Excel skills are an asset.
Strong land and sea logistics background is an asset.
Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
CPIM Certification or on track to be certified is a definite asset.
Knowledge of ERP software systems.
