We're looking for a Work Queue Management Consultant


Rate:
$95 - $100/hour

Responsibilities:


  • Work with informatics specialists, Cerner experts, and clinical SMEs to design and develop future workflows for Work Queue Management.
  • Assist in setting up Work Queue Management, including network, eFaxing, server, and cloud configuration.
  • Engage in diverse testing levels (functional, integrated, acceptance) to ensure workflow robustness.
  • Organize and execute operational support for Work Queue Management, covering cutover, Operational Level Agreement, technical downtime, and resourcing.
  • Track Work Queue Management performance using metrics, ensuring expected operation.
  • Identify Work Queue Management use cases and suggest strategies for implementation at Vancouver Island Health Authority.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align operations and raise awareness of upcoming Work Queue Management changes.
  • Offer expert advice and solutions to internal teams, leaders, clinicians, and stakeholders, leveraging deep experience in Cerner apps, PowerChart, and related systems.
  • Analyze workflows, pinpoint dependencies, and define successful future state designs.
  • Create detailed content to aid governance and executive decisionmaking.
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration, and lead regular user and decisionmaker meetings for meaningful future designs.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience supporting largescale, complex Cerner EMR implementation projects in Canada.
  • 3 years of handson experience in establishing and optimizing Work Queue Management solution within ambulatory care and acute care settings using Cerner EMR solutions.
  • Broad knowledge of healthcare Information Technology (IT) principles and best practices.
  • Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow.
