    MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client in Vancouver.

    They are an established engineering firm known for their expertise in providing innovative and sustainable solutions across a wide range of sectors, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering. With a track record of successful projects and a commitment to client satisfaction, our client continues to be a trusted leader in the industry.

    This individual will provide technical expertise on projects, act as a mentor to Junior Engineers, and work with others to increase the overall technical capability regarding projects.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Serve as a Relationship Manager or Technical Specialist, ensuring timely completion of projects for clients.
    2. Plan and review resource-intensive projects, setting operating standards for efficient project execution.
    3. Maintain technical competence, mentor team members, and contribute to enhancing the overall technical capability within the service line.
    4. Identify and submit projects for technical awards, collaborate to secure large multi-company projects.
    5. Adhere to safety policies, stay updated on industry changes, and pursue necessary certifications, including the potential for a Federal security clearance.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    5+ years of relevant experience, including work with Commercial, Institutional, and Light Industrial buildings.
    P.Eng. status with appropriate provincial association
    Proficiency with AutoCAD & Revit
    Need to be able to face the clients, part of expectations and not negotiable
