Supplement Sales Manager - Toronto, Canada - Hooper's Pharmacy & Vitamin Shop

Description

A Manager is needed to manage daily retail operations of the nutrition/supplement centre to support the owners in achieving goals related to sales, customer service, and employee satisfaction.

• Sell professional supplements, vitamins, homeopathic medicines, and herbal remedies
• Use all POS functionality to manage the nutrition centre (sales, marketing, inventory management, cost management etc.)
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions regarding supplements and vitamins, resolving customer complaints, and helping customers to discover relevant products according to their needs
• Manage inventory, including placing and receiving orders, and restocking shelves
• Ensure displays and shelves are always presentable and tidy
• Work together with retail and pharmacy staff in a collaborative, team environment centered on customer care
• Support owners in executing pricing strategy
• Manage marketing programs and initiatives including monthly flyer preparation and implementation of customer appreciation days
• Work with team to create and maintain proper displays and signage
• Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Assist in the hiring, training, and ongoing coaching of employees
• Ensure employees comply with all policies and procedures (e.g. dress code, health and safety, cleaning/housekeeping, etc.), leading by example

• Experience working in a retail store and with supplements
• Knowledge of supplements, and vitamins; including professional product brands
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on personalized customer care
• Demonstrated passion for health and wellness
• Experience in inventory management
• Supervisory experience
• Professional, selfmotivated individual with a team player attitude
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with differing deadlines
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work flexible shifts which may include evenings and weekends

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
