Description

Our Baie-Comeau branch is currently looking for a seasonal general warehouse and parts helper to join our team.

Role :

The incumbent will handle merchandise in compliance with occupational health and safety rules and company procedures.

• Assist with warehouse moves;
• Place merchandise on shelves according to warehouse plan;
• Keep warehouse clean and safe
• Take parts orders in person, by phone, fax and e-mail.
• Prepare parts quotations and follow up with parts and service representatives.
• Verify pricing and parts availability with suppliers.
• Confirm the generation of customer invoices in the computer system.
• Issue credits for returned parts when applicable.
• Enter orders and other relevant information into computer system.
• Process requests and place orders with local suppliers and follow up.
• File various documents such as customer quotations, purchase orders and others.

Requirements:

• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of MS-Office suite, comfortable working with a computer.
