Responsibilities

Controls and monitors all procurement activities in projects
Manages a team of buyers located different DART locations
Identify market and project specific risks and opportunities throughout the project procurement phase
Establishes proper sourcing processes and identifies all procurement resources and activities to achieve optimal cost Procurement plan targetcosting and meet requirements relating to deadlines and quality
Analyzes customer contracts and agreements including risk analysis and recommends negotiating strategies and tactics in preparation for negotiations with suppliers backtoback where appropriate
Leads contract and price negotiations
Assures compliance with all company purchase order requisition receiving and invoice policies and procedures
Purchase Order Management issue purchase orders in line with stock target
Manage cost control initiatives and ensure that purchasing team are actively performing supplier governance
Develop solutions to Supply Chain stockout issues
Creative in developing solutions to combat current supply chain challenges

Qualifications

10+ experience in Procurement
Relevant University Degree or College Diploma (e.g. Supply Chain Management or Operations Management)
Solid leadership skills; excellent oral, written and presentation skills; rigor and self discipline; outstanding teamwork; interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to multitask; work to tight timelines and project mode;
Ability to travel to all DART locations
