Administrative Assistant

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Foster and support client relationships by liaising with clients, responding to requests, and solving problems proactively;
  • Respond to and followup on inquiries from clients and coworkers in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Book and confirm appointments;
  • Help prepare documents for client meetings; and
  • Manage all necessary documentation for clients and keep up to date with compliance regulations.
Knowledge of

  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry;
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is an asset; and
  • Administrative processes and procedures is a must. I.E. Opening accounts i.e. RRSPs, TFSAs, and corporate accounts.
  • Skill in
  • Organization and timemanagement; and
  • Prioritization and flexibility.
  • Ability to
  • Work within deadlines in a highvolume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service;
  • Be detailoriented and produce work that requires little to no checking; and
  • Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of industry related experience; and/or
  • Relevant Postsecondary education.
