Responsibilities:


Case Management:


  • Oversee diverse commercial litigation cases, crafting tailored strategies for resolution.

Legal Analysis:


  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.

Document Drafting:


  • Prepare precise pleadings, motions, and briefs for court proceedings.

Advocacy:


  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation, delivering persuasive arguments.

Client Counseling:


  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum 5 years of commercial litigation experience demonstrating proficiency in the field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial law, including contracts, business torts, and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
