    ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE

    ABOUT THE ROLE
    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Technology/Chief Information Officer, the Manger, IT Security will be responsible for the strategic direction for the IT Security program, oversight of the City's IT Security team, and work collaboratively to provide guidance to City departments to enhance the City's security posture. The Manager, IT Security will develop the City's risk management framework, develop IT security standards and procedures, oversee the cyber security awareness training program, and be responsible for the development of the information technology security architecture, ensuring adequate controls are implemented and monitored.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic proven Information Technology Security professional to join the progressive and innovative team. The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline, and several years of experience in delivery of cyber security services. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills to promote strong relationship management. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and facilitation skills to lead project teams through IT security initiatives. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    The salary range for this position $108,804 - $126,840, including a compressed work schedule and attractive benefits package. The successful candidate will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).
