Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Estimator/Coordinator to join our team.
As a Project Estimator/Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates within the Formworks Costing Rubric
- Collaborate with builders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize industrystandard software such as Adobe and Bluebeam to create detailed estimates
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that outline project scope, materials, labor costs, and timelines
- Review and analyze project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to cost estimates
- Collaborate with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities and costsaving measures
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and site visits as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or industrial projects
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Adobe and Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to accurately calculate quantities and costs
- Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Detailoriented with the ability to analyze complex project documents and specifications
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Pay:
$62,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
