We are searching for a highly motivated, passionate cook to join our team.

Grand River Early Learning Academy is a brand new centre in Caledonia. We offer care from infancy through 6 years.

We strive to create a nurturing environment that meets every child's current stage of development and challenges them to meet new milestones.

We believe that nutritious meals play a huge role in child development.

As one of the cooks at Grand River ELA you will have the opportunity to create and prepare a multi-cultural, nutritious menu for the children enrolled in our Academy,

We are actively seeking a cook who is passionate about childhood nutrition. We are committed to creating an inviting, diverse and collaborative workplace where everyone feels valued.

Qualifications:

Physically able to lift a minimum 40 lbs.
Physically able to stand on your feet for extrended periods of time
Understanding of the Canada's Food Guide
Food Handlers Certification
Current Vulnerable Sector Check (done in the last 6 months).
Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements

Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$15.50-$16.50 per hour

Schedule:
