DESCRIPTION


Reporting to the POD, this position supports KHSC and the Regional Cancer Program including the planning, delivery and improvement of regional reporting requirements.

Administrative Support is provided to the POD and other program leaders as needed. This includes initiatives and numerous committees in addition to scheduling meeting requirements. This role is heavily focused on reporting - development, implementation, co-ordination, distribution, follow
- up and providing updates as well as review and editing of information provided prior to submission to CCO. Providing support and advice to achieve strict deadlines. This role is responsible for supporting regional internal and external stakeholders to ensure their reporting compliance and making recommendations as required. In addition this position is the main point of contact for all regional inquiries regarding the Oncology Program, and CCO initiatives. This role maintains comprehensive, detailed files regarding all funding agreements; responsible for distribution and analysis of same; providing input, comparison analysis and suggestions to both the POD and RVP. Focus on maintaining confidentiality dealing with sensitive issues.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:


  • Facilitate complex and extensive reporting and scheduling for CCO. Information management, distribution, monitor, follow up and analysis of same. Support implementation of initiatives and requirements from CCO at a regional level.
  • Organize and collaborate with management, leads and physicians to assist in special projects, events, retreats, Community of Practice and GI ENDO initiatives and targeted events.
  • Initiate, facilitate and complete projects with external vendors and regional stakeholders to facilitate best value for the institution.
  • Provide support to senior management, associated Oncology Managers and leads through calendar management, travel and expense reporting, meeting preparation and attendance, file management, trouble shooting, collaboration on projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Business/Medical Administrative Diploma required.
  • 35 years position related experience
  • OTN (Videoconference) experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to attend work regularly.
  • Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
