Our Operations Team is looking for an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Supervisor to carry out the logístical needs of our outbound products, including planning, documentation, and execution of product transportation.

This is a great opportunity for a disciplined and detail-oriented individual to utilize their excellent critical thinking and relationship-building abilities.

They also have a solutions-driven attitude and effective time-management skills, to name a few.

This is a full-time position and may require some weekend and holiday availability.

Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring orders are shipped in the most cost effective and efficient manner
Developing performance metrics, tracking and analyzing KPIs to drive continuous improvement
Monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods
Coordinating transportation by scheduling Drivers and thirdparty carriers for order deliveries
Maximizing the use of labour and equipment, including scheduling and utilizing trucking
Overseeing the daily routines of order selectors, optimizing work distribution, and guiding the packing process
Assisting with order packing and other warehouse duties during busy hours

Your qualifications include:

University degree or College diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 35 years experience involving perishable logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse and operations management
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
Strong geographical knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area
Possess DSD, 3rd party logistics experience
Experience handling discretionary and confidential information
Knowledge of produce wholesale/distribution industry and/or Operational functions
