As an Inventory Control Clerk, you help support the provision of retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community.
You understand the fulfilment needs of the stores and e-commerce platform, thus providing optimum in-stock levels by monitoring sales and inventory.
You administer vendor contracts, confirming receipt of goods from suppliers and verifying the accuracy of purchase orders.The Inventory Control Clerk provides administrative support and collaborates in the implementation of assortment, allocation, space and replenishment strategies. You collect and analyze data to determine customer buying trends and respond to inquiries and correspondence. You maintain filing systems including purchasing files, reports and records.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience
In inventory management and purchasing
In purchase order creation and follow up
In data entry and data manipulation
In creating templates and forms
In creating, updating and maintaining products
In office administration
In maintaining filing systems
In accounts payable
In administering vendor contracts
In using inventory information system
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)
This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required.
