It takes planning, analysis and strategy to build brand partnerships, accurately forecast client behaviour and manage inventory levels across our network.

Inventory Managers collaborate with operations and logistic experts to deliver beauty to our clients across the country. Our energetic and innovative team continually improves speed and accuracy to deliver on our promise to our clients.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Demand Planner, you are accountable for forecasting activities to proactively improve replenishment forecast accuracy.

You will maintain, optimize, and implement forecast models to achieve increased sales and inventory efficiency, while incorporating business intelligence and forecast information collected from sales and availability trends, retailer replenishment analytics, and other sources.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Lead forecasting for Core products, seasonal planning and the identification and incorporation of market and category trends
  • Verifying and Releasing replenishment orders to vendors
  • Lead monthly consensus meetings with Planning Managers to leverage consumer movement, and customer insights to develop monthly volume forecasts and drive alignment to the optimal demand plan.
  • Lead inventory management process and strategy improvement by:
  • Evaluating and identifying factors that impact the department and item performance (e.g., sales, inventory, store space)
  • Collaborating with partners (e.g., Directors) to gain alignment for recommendations
  • Completing and maintaining inventory management settings to drive consistency and effectiveness
  • Review historical sales trend, research demand drivers, handle forecast exception data, and finetune statistical forecast models
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to provide insight into the root cause of forecast error. Develop and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement and enhance business decisions
  • Partner with crossfunctional business teams to drive successful SO&P process to balance supply & demand while minimizing homeless inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current process and implementing new forecasting methodologies, tools and techniques to help improve forecast accuracy and create Supply Chain efficiencies
  • Review and assess the risk to supply and demand variability and identify chances to manage and mitigate risk

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Post-Secondary Education and/or APICS, IBF or another forecasting certification preferred
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, or related field
  • Problem solver and love for finding solutions drawn from your experience and detailed analysis
  • Strong communicator who understand the importance of bringing your key partners along the journey
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive on building process efficiencies
  • Technically savvy in MS Excel and demand planning tools such as JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP, or TXT
  • You have comfort in handling and manipulating large amounts of data
