Once trained, the successful candidate will be primarily on the off shift. Either afternoons or midnights, with the potential of straight midnights.

CSA Safety Shoes are required.
Your Responsibilities:The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the servicing, repairs, installation, and ongoing upkeep of our building, machinery, and equipment. How does this look?

You will be:

• Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment/production lines.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• Responsible for mechanical repairs and maintenance activities for days and afternoon shifts.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed daily.
• Welding, machining, and fabricating where qualified.
• Participle in the implementation of various improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems on machines and equipment.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to complete preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Keep updated records of work performed.
• Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance measures.
• Other duties as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• 5-10 years experience as an industrial millwright or similar position.
• License is not mandatory.
• Able to work weekends when needed.
• Able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of and commitment to health and safety and general safety procedures.
• Able to read and write English.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Industrial Mechanic (millwright) experience an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
