- Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment/production lines.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups.
- Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
- Responsible for mechanical repairs and maintenance activities for days and afternoon shifts.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed daily.
- Welding, machining, and fabricating where qualified.
- Participle in the implementation of various improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems on machines and equipment.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to complete preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Keep updated records of work performed.
- Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance measures.
- Other duties as needed.
- 5-10 years experience as an industrial millwright or similar position.
- License is not mandatory.
- Able to work weekends when needed.
- Able to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of and commitment to health and safety and general safety procedures.
- Able to read and write English.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Industrial Mechanic (millwright) experience an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

Once trained, the successful candidate will be primarily on the off shift. Either afternoons or midnights, with the potential of straight midnights.
CSA Safety Shoes are required.
