SUPERVISOR, GIS/CAD OPERATIONS - LEDUC

JOB POSTING # S8-23

Major duties include but are not limited to:

Assigning and reviewing work for CAD Technicians and GIS Operator;
Receiving, evaluating and establishing priorities for CAD projects;
Establishing deadlines and developing goals;
Reviewing field asbuilts for completion;
Developing CAD system standards and procedures;
Identifying and preparing new CAD asbuilt maps and
Developing documentation and manuals outlining asbuilt research workflows.

Qualifications include:

University degree in Technology (GIS, Geomatics and/or Surveying);
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in GIS editing or CAD Drafting and minimum of one (1) year of direct supervisory experience;
Valid Alberta Driver's license;
Experience in using the following software:
ESRI Enterprise
ESRI ArcGIS Pro and
AutoCAD Plant 3D and Civil 3D
Understanding of natural gas utilities and utility construction projects;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and
Experience in managing budgets.
