The Analyst is primarily responsible for conducting research and analysis in support of ONE ID Business (the Agency's Identity and Authorization service).

As part of this role, the Analyst develops business and operational procedures and provides business support to internal and external clients and stakeholders.


The Analyst is focused on programs/operational areas that are specific to Identity and Authorization service, have straightforward mandates/objectives, with operational scopes that are focused and/or have similar stakeholders.


Key areas of responsibility include:

The Analyst is primarily responsible for conducting research and analysis in support of ONE ID Business (the Agency's Identity and Authorization service).

As part of this role, the Analyst develops business and operational procedures and provides business support to internal and external clients and stakeholders.

The Analyst adjudicates and processes requests from internal/external stakeholders and prepares reports as required.

Here is what you will be doing:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop processes and tools to support stakeholders' implementation of Ontario Health's Identity and Authorization services.
  • Performs business and client requirement analysis in support of Identity and Authorization service development, operational and deployment projects.
  • Continuously seeks and identifies opportunities for the improvement of deployment, operational and registration processes, and procedures.
  • Solve business problems and provide guidance to clients and adoption teams
  • Educate clients, stakeholders and users in the broader health care sector on Identity and Authorization policies, key concepts and processes.
  • Supports integration of various data sources with the BI solution while ensuring data quality requirements are met
  • Performs data analysis in support of program and stakeholder objectives
  • Adjudicates and processes requests from internal/external stakeholders and prepares reports as required
  • May present findings, reports and commentary along with recommendations as requested to leadership
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree, major in business administration, health administration, health informatics, information technology, data science or recognized equivalent
  • 24 years of related work experience is required
Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of process development and implementation
  • Expertise in Identity and Access Management is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of Identity, Authentication & Authorization policies, standards and processes
  • Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Wellversed in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize and meet tough deadlines
  • Problem solver with analytical and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Ability to work independently or in a team

Employment Type:
Temporary Full-Time

Duration: 18 Months

Paygrade and Zone: 4B
