Description

We are looking for a Residential New Construction Foreman in Eastern GTA to coordinate operations and oversee workers on new construction sites (Single and Multi Family Homes).

Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Coordinate material and equipment according to schedule
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities, monitor attendance of crew
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers
• Customer Satisfaction

• Proven experience as construction foreman
• Indepth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and materials in particular exterior cladding and aluminum
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent problemsolving abilities, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively working in a TEAM environment
• Extensive knowledge of relevant workplace safety laws and best practices are important requirements for this position.
• Driver's license in good standing

• Work conditions vary significantly depending on the nature of the project the foreman is supervising
• They will be required to travel to each job site to check on the work in progress.
