Laboratory Analyst - VOC Air Lab

As a Laboratory Analyst, your responsibilities are:

To analyze air samples by GCMS
To follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work
To prepare TO15 standards and samples for analysis
Schedule samples so that all rush and standard TAT guidelines are met
To interpret and report all samples in LIMS so that all TAT is met
To maintain and troubleshoot GCMS and Entech systems
To provide input to corrective action procedures.
To follow all laboratory safety rules and regulation
To keep their work area clean, neat and organized
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader or Manager

You are an ideal Laboratory Analyst, if you have [Minimum Requirements]:

A post-secondary education in Science from an approved institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and one year experience in a related area of testing.
Previous instrumentation experience on a GC or GC/MS preferred
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
The ability to accurately follow Standard operating Procedures (SOP's) and instructions
A Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook and a "cando" attitude.
A safety oriented attitude and are able to handle hazardous materials using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment.
