Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport is a large 451-room full-service hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Close to Pearson Airport, it features a large restaurant and bar with over 20,000 square feet of banquet space.

Overview:


Join our team at Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport as a Host/Hostess If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and crafting memorable dining experiences, we want you to be the welcoming presence at our establishment.


What you will be doing?

  • Greets guests in a prompt and courteous manner; seats guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers. Maintain accurate waiting list as needed. Alert guest when table is available.
  • Assists Manager or Supervisor with opening tasks such as assigning stations to servers for meal periods and retrieving daily specials.
  • Processes takeout orders; may answer room service phone and process room service orders; practices suggestive selling techniques.
  • Receives customer payment from servers and processes transactions on cash register as outlined in the cash and charge procedures; gives correct change; balances cash drawer at close of shift; completes all opening/closing paperwork; documents void on void balance sheet.
  • Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

_ _What are the requirements this role?**- At least one (1) year of restaurant experience.

  • Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests.
  • Available to work any shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
