    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Specialist IT Systems Engineer to join our growing IT team.

    Cloud Platform Engineering is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Toronto office and will be onsite 3 days a week.

    Senior Specialist IT Systems Engineer

    You will be involved in implementing innovative technologies to engineer Platform services, container orchestration technologies as well as CI/CD automation.

    Work with security and compliance teams to ensure that cloud solutions meet industry and regulatory standards
    Stay current with AWS services and industry trends to ensure that cloud infrastructure is optimized for cost, performance, and reliability
    Mentor and train other IT team members on AWS best practices and cloud architecture
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR Work Eperience with Certifications
    ~Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles, including Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and serverless computing
    ~ Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and VPC
    ~ Coding and DevOps experience:
    Python, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub, GitOps, Pipelines
