GCBS Group is a fast expanding building services company who is looking to hire a full-time handyman to perform multiple repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the Durham Region.

This position requires the person to work both independently and as a team. Must be resourceful with required materials for job sites and accustomed to reporting electronically and manually. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and environment.

Compensation is based on experience and skills.

Please note that our shop/office is based in Whitby so looking for people able to commute.


_ Working at Heights Training REQUIRED_

Duties could include:


  • General building repairs.
  • Painting.
  • Drywall Repair.
  • VCT tile repairs and replacement.
  • Ceramic tile replacement.
  • Ceiling tile replacement.

Requirements:


  • 35 years experience as a general handyman.
  • Must have own vehicle.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Own your own tools.
  • Working at Heights training is a plus.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds independently.

_ Wage ranging between $30-$35 per hour_

Salary:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour
