Description

Dutchak Scrap Metal is looking for a part time/casual (seasonal) Cashier/Scale Attendant to manage all transactions with customers with precision and enthusiasm. Cashier duties include making cash payments and issuing receipts. Scale attendant duties include making sure vehicle weights and details are recorded in order to remit payments. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position, be able to work in a fast paced environment and good knowledge of cash management. You should be available to work various shifts, including occasional Saturdays (half days).


Requirements:


Preferably experience in a customer service or sales role

  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced setting and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends (Saturdays)
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Team player
  • Personable
  • Reliable transportation

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 16-20 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour


Day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
