Our Halifax team is looking for the best Analyst in loan administration:

Key Responsibilities

Collect, review, and interpret loan onboarding documentation, including credit agreements, deal packages, and transaction documentation.
Set up new loans and facilities in loan management systems and perform accuracy and completeness checks.
Interpret and process loan lifecycle events in accordance with transaction documentation and internal procedures.
Reconcile loan-related cash activity between accounts and the loan management system.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences, escalating to external parties where required and supporting corrective action.
Prepare and issue compliance, monitoring, and reporting outputs in line with transaction requirements.
Perform and support waterfall calculations for structured credit and financing arrangements.
Support treasury and cash movements arising from loan activity, waterfalls, and distribution events.
Monitor client requests, ensuring timely execution and escalation in line with service standards.
Work closely with internal TMF teams to deliver accurate, timely, and controlled client service.

Key Requirements

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

Prior loan documentation experience is not required; the successful candidate is expected to actively engage with training and development resources.

Experience with loan administration systems such as Sentry, Solvas, or LoanIQ is an advantage.
Exposure to structured credit, compliance reporting, or treasury operations is beneficial
Experience preparing NAV calculations.
