TMMP operates out of Sparwood, BC, serving the construction and mining industry in the BC East Kootenay and Southern Alberta regions.

Your role as a
Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician will involve managing financial records, contributing to our operational efficiency, and supporting the financial systems of our expanding company.

As part of our team, you will support a broad range of operations, including financial management for a fleet of heavy-duty construction and mining equipment.

The position offers the opportunity to reside in the Elk Valley (BC) or Crowsnest Pass (AB), areas known for their outdoor activities and mountainous landscapes.

Responsibilities:

In this position you will report to the Controller and work with the administrative team to manage day-to-day financial operations of TMMP's business.

Responsibilities will include items such as:

Accounting system management and record keeping
Vendor and customer setup/management
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliation
Payroll
Monthend
Tax filings

Qualifications and Requirements:

Secondary (high) school diploma
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
Proficiency with accounting programs and ERP systems, especially QuickBooks
Three (3) or more years of experience preferred
A postsecondary degree, diploma, or certificate in accounting or other related fields of finance is considered an asset

Job Type:

Fulltime, permanent

Schedule:

5x2, Monday to Friday
Business hours; 7:30AM 4:30PM
Periodic WFH available as required

- $50,000 - $90,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
