1.0 FTE CONTINUING

Located on the shared, traditional, and unceded territories of Katzie First Nation and Kwantlen First Nation, the Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) is defined by a culture of excellence and is highly regarded for the quality of its education and its commitment to students.

The school district has 22 elementary schools and 6 secondary schools and is governed by the Board of Education, comprised of 7 elected Trustees.

SD42 is looking for a qualified School Psychologist to join our Learning Services Team, for a 1.0 FTE continuing position.

The School Psychologist will have demonstrated ability in collaborating with school-based and/or district personnel to gather classroom-based data, and design or implement instructional and/or behavioural support strategies.

The School Psychologist will be qualified to administer and interpret up to and including Level C Educational, Psychological and Behavioural tests.

The School Psychologist will demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with other professionals including school-based teams and be able to work as part of a strong collaborative team.

The applicant will possess:

A Master's Degree in school/educational psychology or a related field with a focus on school psychology.
Qualifications that meet the standard for membership in the British Columbia Association of School Psychologists.
