- Manage tasks and projects as assigned to the position by the Production Geology Coordinator;
- Assist with the management of the underground delineation drilling program; including drill hole planning, ensure priorities and targets are reached, issuing logging priorities;
- Update 3D models for production purposes, prepare 3D modelling priorities;
- Get involved in the stope design process;
- Assist with production block model generation;
- Assist in planning underground production activities;
- Assist in mine excavation layout approvals;
- Assist with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports;
- Participate in team meetings. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering;
- Qualifications to register with NAPEG is required;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geology with a minimum of 3 years in underground production;
- 3D modelling experience;
- Experience in narrow vein gold deposit is considered an asset;
- Underground Mining Modules/Formation Modulaire du travailleur Minier or equivalent is considered an asset;
- Qualify for an Approval Letter for access to Explosives (or equivalent);
- Knowledge of Datamine, Deswik, and DHLogger softwares is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of geological production mining concepts and strong geological interpretation skills;
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
