We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to apply mechanical expertise and customer service skills to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Prior dealership experience is a plus, and candidates should be committed to delivering high-quality work.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Utilize welding skills for bodywork or component repairs when necessary
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for complex repairs
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably within a dealership setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or part replacements
- Experience with welding and vehicle assembly is desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
