A Popeyes Shift Manager ensures all Team Members during a shift exemplify Popeyes famous Cajun Hospitality while serving Guests and creating a memorable experience while upholding Popeyes' Brand Standards.

As a Shift Manager, you support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in making sure all food is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection for every Guest.

You ensure Team Members deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served up with Popeyes famous Cajun Hospitality.

You enjoy creating a collaborative spirit within the restaurant - you are energized by the opportunity to learn and grow.


In line with our company's goal is to continue to invest in our management team and to achieve this, we are seeking to hire a Shift Manager.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and train team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to maximize their performance. Maintain a positive and respectful work environment.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure all customers are served promptly and courteously.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.

Food Quality:

  • Oversee food preparation to ensure it meets Popeyes' quality standards.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items before serving.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members to optimize workflow.
  • Ensure that the restaurant meets operational and safety standards at all times.

Cash Handling:

  • Responsible for cash handling procedures, including counting and managing the cash register.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions.

Cleanliness and Safety:

  • Ensure that the restaurant is clean and wellmaintained at all times.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety hazards.

Training and Development:

  • Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and job duties.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Identify opportunities for employee development and advancement.

Reporting:

  • Prepare shift reports summarizing sales, inventory usage, and any incidents.
  • Communicate shift information to the restaurant manager or supervisor.
