Role:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing overall site operations, including production, quality, people leadership, safety, and financial performance. This individual will drive operational excellence, support strategic business objectives, and ensure teams are aligned to deliver consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. The General Manager brings strong leadership capability, sound operational knowledge, and a results-driven, solutions-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, Brewing, or a related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of operations or manufacturing leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Strong understanding of production environments, operational workflows, and continuous improvement principles
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting and cost management experience
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures in a production environment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and drive accountability across departments
  • Strong operational and business decision-making skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
  • High attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture operational perspective

  • Strong reporting, documentation, and performance tracking capabilities
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead through change and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, production tracking systems, and business reporting tools

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, develop, and manage department leaders across production, quality, and operations
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and team development initiatives
  • Foster a positive, safe, and high-performance workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and service levels are met
  • Optimize resource planning, scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with production leadership to ensure operational consistency and product quality
  • Support capital planning, equipment investments, and operational improvements

Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage site budget, cost controls, and operational spending
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Support business growth initiatives and operational scalability
  • Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and execution

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance
  • Champion health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs
  • Support audits, inspections, and corrective action plans

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
