We are searching for an individual who is truly fun, honest, and driven to make a difference in the life of a keen learner.

We are a Surrey-based family seeking a behaviour interventionist to work with our 3-year old child, who is available to work 3 days a week, for 2 hours per day, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY with the possibility of working five days a week with similar hours.

The time of day could be adjusted based on availability and our needs.

You will be working under a behaviour consultant and SPL who is implementing a plan / strategy of motor skills, communication, play, social interactions, self
- help and academic skills.

Knowledge of human development and the principles of Applied Behaviour

Analysis/Verbal Behaviour (ABA/VB) and related assessment and therapeutic skill building
techniques.
*Background in working with autism, speech delay or working under a Board Certified
Behaviour Analyst is an asset.
*Preference will be given to the students who are seeking to gain experience working with
autistic children within the following or similar disciplines: Child, Family & Community
Services, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology or Social Work, etc.
*Training and on-going support will be provided by our experienced BCBA consultant or
speech therapist. Because of this training, we require you provide a one year minimum
commitment to the position.
*Pay will be based on the level of experience, and can be negotiated over time.

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
