What You'll Do

Job Description Summary


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build internal working relationships and coordinate the involvement of company personnel including; sales, operations, finance, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and account setup expectations
  • Onboard new partner activations to the point of execution and activation with internal communications of new terms and conditions
  • Coordinate and understand partner requests to ensure that account changes and requests are met and implemented
  • Build strong relationships with key internal colleagues, representing the sales team in a professional manner
  • Assist in Training RM's and AM's to use FIRST Canada's Sales platforms to improve reporting and account management
  • Onboard new credit card merchant account activations and ensure educations by the RM's on rollout. This will include Credit Card reporting on a monthly basis
  • Occasionally accompany the CSO to clientfacing meetings
  • Provide internal sales communication and support training the sales team
  • Provide CSO support on events and month end reporting tasks
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Ongoing duties will also include: Policy Works configuration, BMS Link and Connect form creation, BMS Group creation, Portfolio Support and Onboarding, Expense management with concur.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive, 'can do' attitude
  • Accountable for results
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Desire for continuous learning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge of FIRST Canada systems (First InSite, Connect, Salesforce) is a plus

Training / Education / Experience Qualifications:

  • University/college degree is preferred
  • 35 years business experience, preferably in project management, service or support.
  • Sales Administrator experience and asset
  • Understanding of commercial insurance policies an asset
  • Experience with insurance brokering network an asset
