- Provide assessment, consultation and service planning for infants and young children with autism and/or developmental disabilities using a consultative and/or parent coaching model
- Provide educational services to the public, students, staff and other professionals and agencies to support individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students
- Program and service development and evaluation for OT services
- Other duties as required
- Master's degree or equivalent in occupational therapy
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and/or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and their families
- Knowledge of motor and cognitive development, sensory processing and self-regulation
- Knowledge of and experience applying occupational therapy theories and models
- Experience administering and interpreting standardized and non-standardized assessments
- Experience in setting goals, creating and implementing occupational therapy interventions using a consultative model
- 1 year minimum experience working with infants and young children
- Experience working on an interdisciplinary team is considered an asset
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- The successful candidate must provide an acceptable Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening), and proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- Fluency in French or another language is considered an asset.)
