**Your Part in It**:
Working out of our Canadian Headquarters in Montreal, QC, we are looking for our next Payroll Specialist. Working within the Human Resources department, you will process Canadian semi-monthly payrolls and maintain employee files in the HRIS. Within this position you have the potential to grow and add on experience with employee benefits and you may help to support our transition to Workday. You will work closely with the Payroll & Benefits Director as well as the rest of the Human Resources team to ensure proper processing of onboardings and offboarding's.

**PAYROLL SPECIALIST**

**What the Job Entails**:

- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
- Process and records manual check calculations.
- Prepares RRSP monthly contributions.
- Reconciles monthly Health Insurance invoice.
- Assigning and recording identification codes in order to index materials for filing
- Transfer inactive records to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
- Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information.
- Support new HRIS implementation project as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Workday is considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.

Travaillant à partir d'l'ouest de l'ile à Montréal, QC, nous recherchons notre prochain technicien de la paie. Travaillant au sein du département RH, vous traiterez les paies bimensuelles canadiennes et tiendrez les dossiers des employés dans le HRIS. Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous avez la possibilité d'évoluer et d'acquérir de l'expérience en matière d'avantages sociaux. Vous travaillerez en collaboration avec la directerice de la paie et des avantages sociaux, ainsi qu'avec le reste de l'équipe des ressources humaines.

**En quoi consiste de poste?**
- Saisir, tenir à jour et/ou traiter les informations dans le système de paie ; les informations peuvent inclure les taux horaires, les salaires, les commissions, les primes ou autres rémunérations des employés, le temps travaillé, les congés payés et les jours fériés, les déductions et retenues à la source, les changements d'adresse et d'autres informations.
- Assurer le traitement approprié des retenues sur la paie pour les impôts, les avantages sociaux, les contributions à la charité et d'autres déductions.
- Traiter et enregistrer les calculs de contrôle manuel.
- Préparer les cotisations mensuelles au REER.
- Réconcilier la facture mensuelle de l
