Sheet Metal Worker - Wentzells Lake, Canada - South Shore HVAC

Description

Our busy HVAC company is growing again, and we are looking for a sheet metal worker to join our team.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Under the direction of the lead technician, work with the HVAC installation teams to assemble and install duct work.

Measure, cut, fit and assemble ventilation for HRV and ducted heat pump systems.

Measure, cut, fit and assemble venting for various mechanical systems.

Assist the refrigeration technicians in these installations where required.

Work in residential and commercial environments.

Projects will involve retro fit within existing buildings as well as new construction.

Projects will often involve work in attics and crawlspaces.

Complete all required job and safety documentation.

Completes all work in a professional manner.

Maintains a tidy worksite, cleaning up after themselves.

Experience with sheet metal work and specifically ducting would be ideal.

The ability to measure and use hand and power tools is critical.

The ability to problem solve is required for retrofit installations.

The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings would be considered an asset.
