Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with associates, peers and supervisor to develop a high performing team
• Analyze reporting and business trends to make strategic decisions to drive results
• Directly supervise the business, ensuring, and maintaining high quality standards
• Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of team members
• Hiring and training of all key staff members
• Ownership of inventory process and a keen knowledge of current inventory and incoming styles.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• 2+ years' of retail or equivalent management experience
• Strong verbal or written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday availability
• Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a teamoriented environment
• Has a strong understanding of current and emerging trends in fashion
• Possesses broad range of product knowledge across all merchandise categories in the store
• Takes initiative to stay informed on new merchandise deliveries across all commodities to maximize selling potential
• Operates with a team mentality (plays well with others), has a cando attitude,

Salary:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Oakville, ON L6J 1J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail management: 2 years (required)
