Experienced Line Cook - Calgary, Canada - Ladybug and Cafe

Our busy cafe is looking for an experienced line cook who can work as a team player in a fast paced kitchen.

Currently we are looking to fill our evening position making pizza's from 3:30/4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday. There is an opportunity for more hours for the right individual if you require more hours.

Experience is important, but even more so are drive, professionalism, and passion. Hoping to find the right person to join our small but great team


Some responsibilities include:

• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes
• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standard
• Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
