Responsibilities -

Inspections, which include being in the field and noting any changes from the drawings or specifications. This is the bulk of the job.
General issues include backfill lift heights, water in excavations, backfill materials, excavation depths, slope stability, road stability, excavation processes, water management, Compaction tests, concrete tests, and erosion and sediment control, etc.
If there is an issue or discrepancy, let CNL field coordinator and project engineer know.
Communicating with CNL and contractor about site activities. Keeping team informed of changes to site progress, or changes of schedule.
Coordinating between necessary site personal that may be needed, if not discussed in weekly JV meeting.
Attending site update meetings.
Other duties as required, i.e turbidity monitoring at the harbor pier site, other site inspections, etc.

Requirements -

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Environmental Sciences
35 years' work experience as a Technician.
Willingness to travel between 24 sites.
