Faculty Lecturer in French Immersion
Teaching 18 credits / Administration 6 credits
The Department
The Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) is in the midst of an exciting period of growth and renewal.
DISE faculty members, students, and staff contribute to the continual process of improving the quality of schools and other educational organizations as they seek to better understand, shape, and sustain the ecologies of learning relationships within and beyond them.

B.Ed. Kindergarten/Elementary Pédagogie de l'Immersion Française
(PIF) and the
Graduate Certificate Pédagogie de l'Immersion Française
with particular attention to the development and management of a system for the Recognition of Acquired Competence (RAC); and (iii) other contributions to the University and scholarly communities.

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Quebec 's French immersion program and context- Demonstrate pedagogical expertise in French immersion approaches- Demonstrate experience and expertise working in PreK to graduate schools in a French immersion setting- Demonstrate an in depth understanding of second language education (teaching language through content)- Engage in constructive problem-solving, collegial decision making and a positive work culture- Communicate effectively with faculty, staff and students within the college, university, and diverse campus and community/education constituencies- Promote diversity of thought and inclusion among students, within the faculty and staff, and in the curriculum
